Description
To fit the old chipboard shelves on some shelving units, I chose betonplex.
This is a lot more durable and moisture resistant than the supplied plates. These were all warped after a few years.
Shelves made of sturdy concrete plywood
By first measuring the old, crooked chipboard shelves, I determined the correct sizes.
All concrete plywood planks were perfectly sized. Unfortunately, I had to saw off a small strip on 1 plank because the frame of the cupboard was a bit warped. In retrospect, I should have made the planks 1mm smaller all around, then they would have slid in perfectly, but now I had to take them off and a friendly tap is required.
The dimensions of the planks
91.3 x 45.0 x 0.9 cm
