A shelving unit is always very practical to have. Especially if it is also equipped with wheels and can therefore be moved. Coen made this to size himself using sawn sheet material.
Description by Coen
I made a shelving unit on wheels. This makes the shelving unit movable and can be placed in front of the meter cupboard in the garage, for example. The top shelf is open at the side. Then, for example, there can be chair cushions that stick out.
How I made this project
The project consists of a frame of beams on a base plate with wheels. I had the base plate, shelves and outer plates cut to size and ordered online. After sawing the intermediate beams, I marked the exact height on the uprights. Otherwise it will not be level. I attached the intermediate beams with 5 cm angle irons. I sawed out the shelves in the corners. This means they are automatically 'fixed'. I used 4 double wheels, 2 of which have brakes. The outer plates continue, enclosing the back plate.
Dimensions of my DIY project
The base plate is 110.0 cm x 70.0 cm. The height is 210.0 cm
