Description
Stairs closed with plywood planks cut to size.
Dowels used and the kit. Finished with acrylic sealant, I could have ordered some extra, such a handy plastic corner used to neaten the sealant edges.
I'm still looking into covering the bottom with felt to absorb sound more.

Measuring steps
Number 1 to 15
Sand to size (corners / sloping steps)
If necessary, rub the bottom with wood glue
Making dowels in the step
Measuring the hole for the dowel in the step
Tac in the dowel hole, top edge and back of the step
Pre-drilling the bottom of the riser and step
Sovereigns
Screwing down riser on step
Occasionally sanded away some of the knobs of the stairs with a sander
All steps done
Closing the screws
Sealting top and bottom and sides
/>Sand the bottom of the steps lightly and apply wood glue
Paint or cover
The dimensions of the project
See order. I should have made the steps a little shorter, now they are just as long as the bottom of the step. But in my opinion not disturbing
