Description by Peter

Pensil 11 speaker (custom size) for Mark Audio Pluvia 11 full range driver. This speaker is 94.0 cm high and suitable for a single driver.

How I made this project

The project is based on an existing design by Mark Audio, which can be found at the Pluvia 11 driver page. I adjusted the dimensions myself because I wanted to build a small floorstanding speaker. I had all the planks cut to size and for reinforcement I used 3 planks per speaker as a divider. These are placed at a disproportionate distance from each other to prevent internal resonances. The whole is put together with wood glue and tension straps (frame tensioners). The bottom plate is removable to allow the internal wiring to be installed and adjusted.
