Description of Bob
Our project was to create a play corner for our children (2 & 4 years old) with space to play but also the possibility to store it again. We did this with 2 standard (Ikea) cabinets and 2 custom-cut panels via opmaatzagen.nl. We are still going to work on a back wall where things can be hung. That would complete the project.
How I made this project
Children's corner consisting of 2 Ikea cabinets (trofast). Ordered 2 custom-cut 18mm thick pine boards via custom sawing. Easily specified the dimensions via the website, which were sawn to the millimeter. The Ikea cabinets are 43.6cm deep, which we also used as the width. Since we had to make a 90 degree angle, the 2 boards were cut at an angle using the correct dimensions. Our cutting list; 1x Shape: Rectangle with beveled short side | (145.0, 101.4) x 43.6 cm 1x Shape: Rectangle with beveled short side | (99.0, 55.4) x 43.6 cm
Dimensions of my DIY project
145 over the long side (this can of course be more or less depending on your available space) 99cm over the narrow side 43.6cm is worktop width
